I used to have unbelievable loads and then during covid I sort of forgot to look what was going on. Once I finally checked I could not believe the drop in spam attempts. This was after the war in Ukraine started so I was never sure if that was part of the drop off. Currently what I have is a a lot of persistent attempts at email delivery or login. If spam does get through it is usually 2 spams from the same source set on a schedule as to seem inconspicuous. Has been my experience.
