AGI will replace humans when it eventually arrives. The ability to copy paste and backup minds is too strong.
- ChatGTP 3y agoI don't really know why people think AGI would be some type of static event. Like there will just be this thing called AGI, that is some type of mind, who mindlessly lives forever backing itself up to the cloud? It truly seems absurd ? "Minds" are useful for humans and biological creatures to support and protect their bodies. It's yet to be seen how much need there is for a mind outside of this context.
