Easier said than done. What makes you think this is going to be achievable?
Why are you assuming the HN community isn't acknowledging the complexity and not taking a holistic approach?
- teamonkey 3y agoPumping CO2 into the atmosphere is geoengineering. Reducing CO2 emissions is less geoengineering.
- fastball 3y agoIt is more like geo-fly-tipping. Engineering implies we are being thoughtful about it (which is more true in the reduction case than the dumping case).
- twobitshifter 3y agoThis case was pumping sulfur into the atmosphere, removing the sulfur (less geoengineering) made things worse!
