I’m beginning to view this Red Hat source brouhaha as similar to the controversy Basecamp/37 Signals kicked off a while back. Both companies took measures to unwind a set of ideas that had crossed the line from good on paper to bad in practice. Some people were angry but everyone moved on and business proceeded with less distraction.
