Yeah, I don't buy that Boone, NC has the same dialect as Odessa TX. The Western NC / E. TN Appalachian accent is quite a distinct one.

- kcplate 3y agoDefinitely. I can generally tell the difference between Texas, Louisiana/Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee/Alabama/Georgia, NC, and SC accents, but I can see how some damned Yankees might not.
