There are issues surrounding that in the US,
given price.
In Norway my meds are free.

OTC or not, the controlled substance laws and schedules (yes, in the US) have resulted in the demand exceeding the supply. People who need them cannot get them because they're just not available. Pharmacists can't even tell you what they do or don't have.
