- ggm 3y agoOf course not. But the Impacts differ by latitude and longitude and the differing effects of the Indian Ocean against the pacific and southern. The DPI are all over this: https://www.agric.wa.gov.au/climate-change/climate-ready-agriculture-western-australia https://www.agric.wa.gov.au/climate-change/climate-ready-agr...
- defrost 3y agoI'm in rural W.Australia, my neighbour over the way has been running tens of thousands of seed trials on ANOVA plots all over the state for the past decade for all the major crop strains (wheat, barley, canola, ..). Logged yields, multi spectral drone imaging during growth, etc. I wouldn't say they have it 'solved' it's always ongoing, but they have candidates for most conditions .. and can recommend for overseas conditions that aren't seen here.
- defrost 3y agoI'm also in WA. It's different, seasons shift and farmers adapt, here we're making jams and preserves while the fruit is out.
