Care to elaborate without this much analogy? I suspect you're trying to say the value of a Tesla ain't going to be there in 10 years, but I'm not quite sure that's true.

Take the money the new owner gave you and use it to purchase another vehicle. Step 5. Profit In this sequence of events, the value of the tesla in 10 years is of no consequence to you because you do not own it.
