Yeah, I get the savings thing, but I'd think as long as you're not financially mooching off your parents, I wouldn't worry about it. I remember a dev on here posting about taking a year hiatus to drive San Francisco city buses and getting a recharge of sorts out of the experience. I think if I had "fuck you" (or even "screw you") money, I'd probably look at being a phlebotomist or patient sitter type job in a hospital.
