I don't know why people worry about the crypto in Brave. Personally I like crypto but I have it turned off in Brave anyway and it never bothers me.
When I open a new tab, Brave tells me:
Trackers & ads blocked

Time saved
3.3hours
Which is definitely a feature I like.
