- helloooooooo 3y agoHow? If I own a windows machine it comes with Edgium. If I own an apple machine it has Safari. If I use a desktop Linux distribution, it likely comes with Firefox. If I use a Chromebook, it comes with Chrome(which is highly integrated into the OS itself). Google isn’t imposing anything. Sure when you navigate to a Google site, it may nag you to download Chrome. Microsoft does the same on a Windows box. There is no imposition or compulsion involved.
