Only recently I bought a TI 84 Python Edition and I love it. Good user interface, good functionality. I prefer to have separate calculators with me when reading and thinking (I also use the Python functionality for little helper scripts, e.g. a simple math trainer for my kids). On the PC, I have a lot of appreciation for qalculate (sometimes in combination with the generic Cantor interface, a KDE software)
