GCloud is probably used MORE than Azure. Microsoft has a lot of stuff that's not cloud in their revenue to make it look bigger. Leaked numbers show GCloud revenue are actually about even with Azure.

- jzebedee 3y agoThis doesn't come close to the actual market share you'll find in the likes of Gartner or others. The cloud landscape has long been AWS, Azure, and GCloud as a distant third.

- jzebedee 3y agoYes, and it amounts to a puff piece for GCloud. "We don't think we're as far behind as everyone else does" is not a compelling argument. Google is only too happy to believe Gartner rankings when it's in their favor [1].
