EXP TV – endless stream of obscure media and video ephemera
- neilk 3y agoNobody is commenting because if you click the link you're hypnotized for an hour
- black_puppydog 3y agoyeah this is pretty amazing :)
- daedlanth 3y ago[dead]
- srvmshr 3y agoThis is the closest I would get to watching Rick & Morty's Interdimensional cable TV :) Interesting concept!
- jader201 3y agoI think it would be even better if it were a live stream (maybe with chat to see others reacting to whatever bizarre broadcast happens to be playing).
- chabes 3y agoThere’s a link to their Twitch channel on the page, https://www.twitch.tv/exptv_ https://www.twitch.tv/exptv_
- Venn1 3y agoThat's some wholesome WTF.
- joemazerino 3y agoCool idea. I like the thought of having this on a monitor constantly playing at a bar for cyberpunk decor.
- bozhark 3y agoFrom the other day’s front page post.. a bar where you have windows that are screens from video feeds from other bars
- mootzville 3y agoThis shit is amazing! Thanks.
- CheeseLovers 3y agoI wonder how many hours they have before you start seeing something you've seen already.
- CheeseLovers 3y agoAlso I wonder if these folks are in cahoots with "Everything is Terrible".
- timnetworks 3y agoNo need to wonder, there's a TV Guide if you click the (lines icon?) on the left.

- JohnDeHope 3y agoAnd just like that, poof, a thousand nerd hours of productivity go up in smoke.
- JKCalhoun 3y agoIt feels like I died and met J. R. "Bob" Dobbs. I love it.
- randombits0 3y agoEveryone’s Pink until Bob sees your $20!
- notbeuller 3y agoThis should be hosted by Blank Reg from Max Headroom. It reminds me too of Over The Edge / Negativeland.
- fortyseven 3y ago"And now... more of the same!"
- rubymancer 3y agoI worked on this! It's curated by a few video editors in LA who collect vintage VHS tapes. They've been doing it for many years, the stream is the cream of the crop. You can't imagine the scope of the discard pile.
- firecall 3y agoAmazing! Thanks for sharing! It’s almost like the Internet K-Hole for video!
- TheWoodsy 3y agoKinda reminds me of neverthink.tv. Similar idea of endless video but curated into categories. I wish I could find an alternative.
- sourcecodeplz 3y agoThis is not bad!
- genocidicbunny 3y agoI feel like I stumbled on this at an unfortunate time, because whatever is playing at the moment is very rapidly triggering a headache due to the flashing of clips at a rapid pace. Pretty sure I know some epileptics that would have been set off by this. Felt a little less like TV and more like that scene from Altered Carbon where the main character gets the unicorn backpack -- overwhelming bombardment of rapid images.
- hobo_mark 3y agoReminds me of https://archillect.com/tv https://archillect.com/tv
- lagniappe 3y agoreminds me of upl8.tv
- HanClinto 3y agoThis is really cool! I find myself wanting to know a reference name or something for the clips that are shown. MTV would play the artist / song name at the beginning and end of each clip, and I find myself missing that little tag to mentally catalog these things.
