That’s wild. I wonder if those people were just so immersed that they never actually took a step back and considered the larger picture? Cuz anecdotally ik some advertisers that don’t consider themselves “advertisers” but rather their ads as a piece of art and then expressing their creativity. Honestly not sure if I would feel better if it was some heuristic blocking a true realization of their actions or just classifying them as evil lol
