They are, but inflation (and shrinkflation) powered by corporate greed has screwed people over the last year; I could fill my tote back with equivalent of 20 euros in September when the local currency was much weaker, whereas now I need to spend more in local currency than I did back then.

- PartiallyTyped 3y agoThey hide it under the guide of “inflation” and war that displaced so many millions of Ukrainians.
- robertlagrant 3y agoThey hide inflation under the guise of inflation? I don't quite follow. Certainly the war has caused inflation, in the sense of "things costing more".
- PartiallyTyped 3y agoIf you decompose the increase in cost to the subcomponents, you will find that corporate profits from retailers are causing inflation.
