> almost full compatibility That's the problem though - there's a whole raft of stuff that just plain doesn't work with the Oma family, either because people can't read specs (looking at you, Ivory) or the specs are woefully vague or the Omas have just done something different and aren't really receptive to "make stuff work proper" requests. If you're putting something up as an experiment, you don't want to hamstring it from the start with these kinds of problems on top of everything else.
