- tantalor 3y ago> A site to test the interaction of web APIs and browser permissions.
- codetrotter 3y agoClick the buttons and see what happens. It triggers your browser to ask for various permissions for the site. Also, notable from the Readme: > currently maintained by Chromium project members, but note that this is not an official Google product. So presumably if you want to implement something that uses various browser permissions, this site is a good place to start because people working on the Chromium web browser project are using this site to check interactions of the browser permission system.
- hyperhopper 3y agoIt would be really nifty if you used any context clues or pressed any buttons before making uninformed comments. This site is called hacker news, use your brain, tinker a little.
- tuwtuwtuwtuw 3y agoGiving a random site access to various devices without knowing the purpose would require you to not use your brain though.
- cafeinux 3y agoClick a button, receive a permission request, refuse it. Congratulations, you know have a good clue as to what this site's purpose is, without giving it access to your device.
- tuwtuwtuwtuw 3y agoOh wow, I have a "clue" what the purpose of the site is? Yeah sure, no need for any description of what a random site does. Let's just let users waste time collecting clues. Absurd.
