I don't fully agree with the approach of legalizing something because something equivalently dangerous is already legal. If carrying around hand guns are legal, would you allow SMGs? If you genuinely think existing drugs are dangerous and you were severely addicted to it, shouldn't you call for regulations to prevent that from happening for others?
