why do you need city municipal approval to install a sign on your own building? even if rented, even if owned, why? just why?
- ido 3y agoHave you seen a video of this sign? It’s glowing and flickering a harsh white and is situated exactly opposite a tall apartment building.
- rsynnott 3y agoQuite right. Now that he’s had to take them down off the office, Elon will be around to set up his strobe lights outside your bedroom tomorrow.
- maxerickson 3y agoBecause that is what a municipality is! It's kind of the whole point that you are agreeing to share the space you are in. If you don't want to share, go occupy an incorporated chunk of land.
- ModernMech 3y agoBecause when people took it upon themselves, they apparently secured it with sandbags, creating a serious hazards in high wind conditions.
