- bhouston 3y agoThe reason is because the extradition agreement didn't mention those charges, which is a technicality unfortunately. He is still be prosecuted for his financial crimes.
- pessimizer 3y agoThe pretense is that the US respects our agreements with powerful governments like Bermuda's. especially when they come to US political corruption, which Bermuda for some reason feels is very important to protect. This is sillier than the parliamentarian tanking the $15 minimum wage.
