Oh man I should hand this article to anyone who wonders how I scraped through school with a lit degree and somehow became a software engineer. My pinboard solution is intentionally low-tech. A yellow pad of note paper I can take with me anywhere. First page is the things I want to accomPlish for the week. Following pages are things I learn or want to add to the list. On Friday I make a new to do page, consolidating and removing previous pages. I keep the pad on my desk in front of me. I can look at without opening my computer or phone. This usually preempts frivolity.
