Back when I had Comcast (and thus native IPv6 at home), this was a great way to expose a web server at home without resorting to either weird port forwarding or setting up a proxy + SNI. Both of those work, but this is super clean.
(Now I only have IPv4, so I just use Tunnel).
- BaseballPhysics 3y agoEven using something like Hurricane Electric, this is still a nice solution to get access to services hosted on a residential connection. Feels a lot cleaner to me than weird reverse tunnelling solutions.
