Not liking crypto is one thing, but one needs to have serious issues to deny the fact that there is a lot of tech involved in crypto regarding cryptography, decentralized computing, and double spending problem just to name a few. Perhaps not the best solution, that can be argued, they can be used for nefarious purposes too, but there's definitely good engineering work in crypto field.
