Does anybody know if the actual iris information gets stored, or it’s just a hash of it ? Seems like there is no reason why the iris picture needs to be stored. But I’m not sure of the whole use case

It's a hash. But that doesn't eliminate the serious privacy issues with it.

  Ok, Assuming the it’s a well known hash it seems a bit more secure. Can’t do any searches on people based on the iris.
