Very well written. However, I have never thought of the word 'endpoint' as used in API documentation in the way they describe it. I have no idea what the true origin is but I've always thought of it as the end of the journey the api request makes over the network. > These are called endpoints simply because they go at the end of the URL, as in http://example.com/<endpoint_goes_here> http://example.com/<endpoint_goes_here>.
