A Theory of Childbirth’s Evolution May Not Be What You’re Expecting
- susiecambria 3y agoWhat troubles me about the issue, and that the current folks working on the issue have mentioned, is the idea that women are somehow broken, something to be fixed. As a public policy and budget analyst and wonk, I have found over 25+ years that the notion of brokenness is all too common. This applies to women, people of color, immigrants, you name it. A similar way of thinking exists in drug testing, medical research, etc. where then the issue is that the standard is (and will always be) white men.
