Tell HN: Lots of Websites Imitating ReVanced
When searching for the ReVanced page, I noticed a ton of sites imitating the real page (https://revanced.app/). uBlock Origin should warn you about this, but I just thought of writing here.
This was/is also common for Vanced and NewPipe.
Don't fall for these malware.

- mdwalters 3y agorevanced is self-hostable, so i'm sure it would be decentralized, and people would use revanced name at this point
- RGBCube 3y agoReVanced isn't a service, it's an app. The ReVanced website only exists to give information about the project & to link the manager download link. Any site imitating ReVanced is 99.999% of the time, indee, malware.
