  Yes, they turned down a large offer from Microsoft which at the time was debated on HN as either indicating an ace up their sleeve or sheer stupidity.

    It was $20m[1], which seems large to me, but I seem to remember the argument being made that it was likely too small a return to get their investors to agree to it.
