I switched my mom to a Chromebook and my dad got a tablet a few years ago because their Windows computers were just loaded with viruses for absolutely no reason. The chances of getting viruses or malware with those two types of devices were very slim, and yet, they figured out how to still get in trouble. I always recommend Chromebooks to just about everyone simply because they remain fast and low on the virus level, yet they somehow still manage to either download a faulty extension or go to a website they do not belong. It can be annoying and I do wish these large manufacturers would figure out how to make better PCs for older people. And I haven't had any issues and do have that peace of mind ever since I enabled the Authenticator app.
