I'd be a buyer if you had an indoor unit with a radon sensor.
- ahaucnx 3y agoWe have looked into adding a radon sensor but it is very difficult to get an off-the-shelf radon module in the market that is reasonably priced. If any of you can recommend a module I would be very interested to hear.
- JumpCrisscross 3y agoRepackaging these sensors might be a better play than an OTS procurement model. Lots of people are making pretty packages for commodity sensors. Few are developing new sensor packages.
- cyberax 3y agoWhy would you want a radon sensor in a product that does constant monitoring? Radon concentration is not a transient state, and you need to measure it for a fairly long time to get a good idea of the true concentration.
- simondotau 3y agoDoesn’t your second sentence adequately explain your first sentence? Something that does constant monitoring would surely be good at measuring for a “fairly long time”.
- cyberax 3y agoI mean that you need to accumulate the readings for a long time because the specific activity is so low.
