Interesting to see this juxtaposed with another headline about AI girlfriends. Strong couples often challenge eachother to improve and maintain themselves. Women culturally do the same within their friendships. Men who enjoy the company of men at the gym do have a similar attitude of cooperative improvement, but many seem to take it so far that it's unsustainable. In my experience, internal motivation is a limited resource -- it's far easier to encourage, and be encouraged. I hope, for men's sake, that their AI girlfriends can provide some of that, rather than just tell them what they want to hear.
