Well, a similar burning of the Torah was stopped in Sweden before. I am not sure what makes that different than burning the Quran re: free speech, but now Sweden has approved for a 50-year-old woman to burn the Torah outside the Israeli embassy in Sweden, and people are rallying to stop it. It should be all or nothing if the reason is free speech, no?

- thefurdrake 3y ago> It should be all or nothing if the reason is free speech, no? No. Free speech isn't really all or nothing on a societal level, like most things in the real world. Sane limitations on free speech are a well-trodden concept; calls to action for violence and shouting fire are good examples. Whether or not those limitations are applied ethically everywhere is a whole different topic, though.
