I was hit by a bicyclist once. He could have chosen to walk, but instead he chose to ride at something like 25mph down the same path as I was walking. He saved a few minutes. A lot more people get injured from bicycles than from safety minded pedestrians.
- franga2000 3y agoYes, this happens, but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. That, like cars, bicycles should also be separated from pedestrians? I agree, dedicated cycle lanes are great and we should have more of them. But this is an entirely separate issue.
- olddustytrail 3y agoNo they don't. Far more pedestrians are injured by other pedestrians than by cyclists. If you're going to make up a story, try to make it realistic.
