I'm trying hard not to read this as being more encouraged to do the thing people are upset with him for doing because they are upset with him for doing it, which just seems sociopathic
- readthenotes1 3y agoWhich seems sociopathic: - to pursue a course that others oppose more vigorously because of the opposition - for someone to be encouraged by that reaction ? Neither seem a sign of sociopathy to me. From the mayo clinic: "mental health condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to purposely make others angry or upset and manipulate or treat others harshly or with cruel indifference. They lack remorse or do not regret their behavior."
- jplona 3y agoAn alternative read is that the poster is trying to discourage further physical threats, doxxing, and other abusive behavior they're receiving for doing their jobs, by appealing to the bad actors' self-interest.
