Probably the “screen-generation” needs to learn how to really enjoy an experience. Photography is one of my hobbies but for me it’s a different experience that enjoying being on certain place. Seeing a glacier for example is a completely different thing than trying to capture an image that would convey what you feel by being there. Same as taking a portrait of somebody is not the same as talking to them.
