Look inside the world’s largest 3D-printed neighborhood in Texas
- creer 3y agoThe photo shows a single family homes development in construction. I can see 7 concrete wall printers on rails that straddle the entire width of long, single storey houses with variable plans. Foundations and roofs seem conventional. With the printers being moved here and there from house site to house site around a very flat and compact development with mostly finished roads. The article mentions target house prices but does not give any comparison with nearby homes. Hmmm, let's see. Georgetown, Texas, 1,500 to 2,100 sqf, 3-4 bd, zillow says for that area and allegedly built after 2020: $340k to $660k. This development plans to sell brand new for $475k to $600k. Perhaps there's a lot of demand but Zillow shows more than 200 available. Inconclusive on price.
