I don't actually like many Open Source "products". I like a lot of Open Source and Free software, but trying to turn that stuff into a product almost inevitably ruins it. Just look at Plex, or NextCloud, or Docker, etc..

Typically open source projects migrate to productising their services to have financial stability to support their community and customers. Open source can either be sponsored, have a Cloud version or ask for support fees, isn't that the natural transition for an open source product?
