TIL you can use UserDefaults to access other apps? I knew about AppGroups, but it sounds like they mean brute forcing other applications? By that same token a public CloudKit implementation should need a reason as well? V confused.

I think it's because you can get system default information that could be used to fingerprint the device. One example seems to be MDM data.
