As someone who knows little about Indian society and have never set foot on American soul, I'm obviously a bit limited wrt the subject matter. That said, this text reads to me as a shallow piece of nationalism. The comments here (which are - I might add - much more interesting to read) seems to confirm that. I'm wondering if the author is naïeve or if it's deliberate propaganda. If the latter - which groups would promote such views and are they dominant in India?
