I find it simply impossible to believe that Masnick is so incompetent at running a website after so long, that he's finding out from random friends that his site has been de-listed from Bing instead of him or his staff having their search console lighting up like a dashboard and pinging them with emails. I get emails from both bing and google if there are site indexing issues, and while they're not always super clear about why, the major stuff is pretty easy to fix. I find it even harder to believe that when he confirmed the problem, he then didn't do anything about it for months. This feels incredibly performative.
