While not as old or perhaps storied, I can recommend the rum from St. Nicholas Abbey as a more affordable alternative, at probably a few hundred dollars for their most rare bottles - which they will engrave for you when you buy one. Barbados also had some exceptional cigars from the Royal Barbados factory in Bridgetown as well.
