Couldn't you extrapolate this argument to almost anything? With windows, microsoft was essentially the only viable os (still is many contexts sadly), but there's plenty of real competitors to excel. Otherwise, isn't AWS bundling essentially all the AWS services together? You're encouraged to use them simply because they're there, why use the google cloud equivalent when your already using AWS.
