Those are some strong opinions of design thinking. I always thought it was just requirements and design but done by specialists from service design backgrounds. I’ve seen the results of workshops, and although very expensive, are very useful because they put the project focus’s on the users rather than the technology. And, if someone has hired design thinking specialists, then you at least know that the leadership has a commitment to usability and not putting the cart before the horse. For instance, I’ve seen results of design thinking result in drastically reduced savings because they avoided buying technology that they didn’t need.
