It seems like an AI generated article to me, its a bit incoherent.
What I'd want to see from a dentist but I've never seen this sort of thing, is a full HD close up of the inspection and any work done to the teeth, ie watch what is being done in real time with the ability to stop and ask questions at any time, and be able to take that recording home to analyse further and to monitor the changes to teeth over time.
I'd like to know why X is better than Y before its used, because there is no going back with your teeth, and I like to look up things to find out more.
For example, when drilling teeth and filling them, different cleaning methods of the cavity resulted in a difference in the bacteria that live in the freshly drilled cavity. I think the study was comparing things like the use of an iodine wash versus a UV exposure. Not only did I find it interesting to know that reservoirs of different bacteria live between the tooth and filling, there are different types of fillings on offer and they all come with their own risks.
The quality of work between different private dentists also varies, so where are the league tables of who is the best and most knowledgeable? Price is not always indicative of quality of workmanship.
Because the quality varies, if you choose to go to a different dentist, standard practice in the UK is to have your teeth xrayed on the first visit, they dont spend much time if any looking at these xrays, but everytime you have your teeth xrayed, the incidence of thyroid cancer increases!
Likewise I know of someone who in their 30's visited a dentist, and proceeded to take all their teeth out, and then realised afterwards they had got the patients mixed up, resulting in that person having to put up with false teeth for the rest of their life from their mid 30's. Now besides being an example of health experts making decisions for you, passing off as a mistake in some cases because of their social circumstances, the reduced bacterial level from having no teeth has almost certainly increased their lifespan, because dental bacteria can increase the risk of heart attacks but it sucks that these experts get away with this sort of stuff!
Likewise whats the latest technology being used, can they measure the quality of your teeth better than an xray, like some sort of fMRI thing, or ground penetrating radar tech, where they can ?Dexa? quantify the mineral density of your teeth like they can with your bones?
This is the thing, I dont see much technological developments coming out of dentistry, it just seems to me like scrape, drill and fill and thats it, to be nice about it, but the cynic in me sees it also as a form of stealth control using poor health, knowing what I've read from studies, like mercury from amalgam fillings affecting the mitochondria! A sort of professional hit job.
