As it will continue to next year. Realistically, the NIMBYs have won, fission isn't happening, and fusion is still 2 decades away (thus has it always been).
Solar and wind aren't really making a dent, seemingly. I sometimes wonder if rationality will win out in the end.
- bluGill 3y agoSolar and wind are making a dent in some areas. 80% of my electric comes from wind (or so my utility claims, the only official numbers I see are statewide and include other utilities). Solar is also making a dent in some states. But other states are fighting against it.
