I experience this just two weeks ago. Not only did I have to register but also provide a picture with my government ID. I also had to go to two separate counters. It was not worth the cheap airline ticket. The plane had not been cleaned, the seats were hard and did not recline. Avoid Ryanair and also avoid booking through third parties.
