I (EU citizen) once crossed the UK border in a Tesla and it was a weird experience. They have flagged me (in Dover) and brought me to a hangar where an old border officer first asked me the usual questions – do you have any drugs, guns, knives, etc. Then he started asking me whether I know that my car has cameras and asked me to show him the position of all of them. While we were going around the car he kept asking me how come I am fine that Elon Musk sees everything I do around the car and everywhere I go. He kept asking me something about Elon and shuffled it with the more usual questions like whether I am a terrorist. After ~10 minutes he let me go through. If it was a stranger on a parking lot I wouldn't mind and I would perhaps even enjoy the conversation, but coming from a border guard it was a bit scary.
