Aww, I loved GNN. Free email and nntp I believe were the most compelling things about it.
- bradknowles 3y agoYeah, at the time, pretty much everyone in George's Internet Operations group loved it. We were all calling it AOL 2000, under the premise that this is basically what AOL would turn into once everything was moved off the Stratus mainframes. I don't think any of us realized just how silly that idea was.
