Nobody is going to start calling it X. The company, maybe. But people will continue to refer to tweeting as tweeting and the platform as Twitter. I predict they'll backpedal within weeks.
- Teeorb 3y agoI feel like twitter is going to be integrated into the X platform. Musk is a fan of WeChat, which serves as a platform for different modules of functionality, such as online chatting, e-shopping, news media etc. This idea of "everything in one" has been long rooted in his mind, purchasing Twitter is the initiation of realization of his version of WeChat.
- 3cats-in-a-coat 3y agoIt was rooted in his mind for 20 years, but he's done nothing about it. There's no X platform, and therefore Twitter is not being "integrated" into anything. All he's done so far is swap some logos and names.
